Esto comenzó como un desahogo en las notas de mi teléfono esas noches en las que me ahogaba en mis sentimientos y mis pensamientos. No pensé que iban a salir tantas palabras que describieran y convirtieran mi dolor en arte. La poesía siempre ha sido parte de mi vida y de mi colección de libros, pero, jamás pensé poder crear mi propio poemario. Diario de un corazón roto cuenta la historia y el dolor que se siente por un amor correspondido a medias.

Not only a book of relatable and understandable poetry, but a book filled with many surprise endings. Each one of us has different sides of ourselves and based on the situation and environments we are in determines which side is revealed. The combination of poems allows readers to have a deeper insight on the poet and all his personality traits. As you read, the idea is for the author not to only share his "sides" with you, but inspire others to be open and comfortable in all sides of themselves. These poems are written to help you make that discovery. Each new day offers a gift, something special about the day to give the heart and soul a lift and make life better in some way; if we seek then we will find that each day's gift will come to mind.
